NEW – KilnMaster Touchscreen Option
All Production Series, KilnMaster and GlassMaster models that use a full size touchpad may now be ordered with the new KilnMaster or GlassMaster Touchscreen Controller. The only difference between a KilnMaster Touchscreen Controller and a GlassMaster Touchscreen Controller is the GMT Controller ships with the Ceramic programs turned off to protect you from over firing your kiln. For more information on the features and function of this innovative new controller and it’s associated App check out our Featured Products page.
Production Series Kilns were developed initially to make it possible to fire some of our larger kilns to Cone 10 temperatures. This required using upgraded components like heavier gauge wires, more robust relays and ways of connecting the elements. The end result is a Kiln Series that requires less maintenance in Production environments. Production Series kilns can be equipped with either the KilnMaster Touchscreen or or standard KilnMaster Controller.
The KilnMaster controller has long been considered the standard of the industry. This controller comes has most of the features available on the new KilnMaster Touchscreen controller but does not include WiFi, an App for remote viewing, or Help Screens.
This is the original Kiln Controller. Developed in the 50s, this controller utilizes pyrometric cones to sense when the kiln has reached the proper heatwork and shuts off mechanically as opposed to digitally. We highly encourage people to upgrade to the new digital controllers due to their added features.
