How Do I Install KilnLink?

If you have a Touchscreen controller (Kilns with a KMT or GMT model prefix) there is no installation necessary. These controllers have built in WIFI to make the Internet Connection.
If you have a standard controller that has not been fitted with a LinkBoard you will need to have one professionally installed. The LinkBoard is a device that is connected to your controller and has connection receptacles for KilnLink and EnviroLink. If the kiln was already fitted with a LinkBoard, its location will depend on the age of the kiln. It will either be installed on the right side of the control box or in an Easy View accessory.
You will also need to purchase a LinkBox that mounts to the wall. This device acts as the interface between the LinkBoard and the Internet. For more information on retrofitting your 24 button KilnMaster or Glassmaster kiln with KilnLink view the links below.
