Sector Eligibility:

Public and private arts organizations, nonprofit arts education programs, and K–12 education providers delivering arts-focused programming.

Grade Level Eligibility:

Pre-K–12 for K–12 arts education programs; other programs may serve adults or the general public

Funding Amount:

4–7% of the organization’s annual operating expenses (based on the past 3–4 years of expenses and alignment with funding priorities)

Application Deadline:

Rolling / year-round; reviewed 9 times per year, with typical decisions within 6–8 weeks

Eligibility Criteria:

Organizations must be based in the United States and provide arts programming, arts education, or K–12 arts education. Priority is given to programs that engage youth who face economic, geographic, or other barriers; connect young people with professional teaching artists; provide sequential non-school-based arts education; or offer culturally specific arts education. Eligible applicants must have minimum annual operating expenses of $25,000, excluding in-kind contributions.
