Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants to the Voya Unsung Heroes Awards Program must be employed by an accredited K–12 public or private school in the United States. Eligible applicants include full-time educators, teachers, principals, paraprofessionals, and classified staff with effective, innovative projects that enhance student learning. All K–12 education professionals are eligible to apply, regardless of whether they are clients of Voya Financial®. Nonprofit organizations that are not schools (such as 501(c) entities) are not eligible. All applications must be verified by a school superintendent, principal, or the applicant’s immediate supervisor.
