If you are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, a shuttle to and from Skutt is available and included in your stay. Please meet in the hotel lobby at 7:30am to arrive at Skutt by 8am, and return pickup is scheduled around 4:30pm.
For those driving, please be aware we have limited parking for visitors. You may park in ANY open spot, including spots labeled for admin or visitors.

What to bring
- Please bring a multi-meter if you have one. We have a few extras if you do not have one.
- Please wear closed-toed shoes.
Meals
We’ll provide grab-and-go breakfast items, snacks, and a catered lunch on both training days. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know—we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Skutt-Hosted Dinner – First Night of Training
To kick things off, Skutt will host a casual dinner on the first evening of training. It’s completely optional, but we’d love for you to join us if you’re available!

Travel & accommodations
We recommend flying into Portland International Airport (PDX). It is about a 30-min drive to Skutt.
Car rentals are available. Taxi, Uber, and Lyft services are reliable as well.
Skutt has reserved a block of rooms at a nearby hotel, which is five mins from Skutt headquarters and has a variety of dining and shopping options within a short distance. This Hilton also provides a shuttle to and from our training sessions, and a complimentary breakfast.
Skutt will share a Hilton reservation link upon training registration completion.

Make a weekend of it!
We intentionally schedule training sessions before or after a weekend because many attendees stay a few extra days to explore the Pacific Northwest! Within a few hours’ drive, you can visit the Columbia River Gorge, Mount St. Helens, the Pacific Coast, the Portland Japanese Garden, the Oregon Zoo, and so much more. There’s no shortage of natural beauty, great food, and quirky neighborhoods to explore.
What to Expect from the Weather
Portland weather can be unpredictable—sunshine, rain, and everything in between. We recommend packing layers and a rain jacket to stay comfortable. Please note that a portion of the training takes place in our warehouse, which can get warm in the summer. We’ll have fans, water, and cooling towels on hand to help keep everyone comfortable and safe.
